Day 1 Recap from Emanuel “Mega” Embaixador who advanced through round 1 today.
“So the organization made the call for an 8:00 am start of the contest today for the pro division. Contest started at 9:00, with the best conditions of the day. (low tide) Sununga was not working as usual but there was some fun wraps, and riders made the most of it. After the round 1 and the first heat of round 2, organization and riders decide to stop the contest during the hight tide. Conditions were too “troughy.” So the then ran the expression session to keep everyone stoked on the beach with tha best tricks.After that the contest stoped and the next call for the Pros might be Thursday for the next swell.
While in sununga, there is always a bit of Samba and good times on the Quiosque. Music from Divino Sununga and the Dj master from France, Bernardo from Batardubreak keeps the good vibes going. Now its time for sushi at the house, see u guys tomorrow!”
